  3. Never had mochi bread before, is it difficult to get the ingredient? Or rather does it has to be Japanese glutinous flour?

  5. Hi Yochana,

I just bought the premix from Seoul Mart. We just follow the instruction then bake. How much chocolae did you add to your previous Chocolate mochi bread? Please teach me how to use the premix, thanks.

  7. Hi Yochana,

What is Matcha? When cool or overnight will the bread turn hard?

  8. Hi, Matcha is green tea. When cool, it is chewy. I prefer to eat it soft. So when it's overnight, I microwave for 15 secs.

  10. Hi anonymous,

It all depends...if I use the premix from seoul mart, then I will follow the instructions from the box. Florence's mochi bread flour is different froim Seoul Mart. Her's is more chewy and soft... I must say that Florence's mochi bread taste better than Seoul Mart.

  14. Hi Yochana,

The instructions on the box from Seoul Mart are all in Korean & the saleslady cannot speak English. Can you teach me the steps? Put one egg & milk or water then stir then add the flour? Do we need to rest the dough? Thanks.

  15. Hi anonymous,

Just add in 1 egg (60 gm) and add in 70 ml milk. Mix them all together and roll into balls. I didn't rest the dough.

  24. Hi Aunty,

Is there any way to bake this mochi bread without using the premix? start from using mochi flour or glutinous flour? I can't find the premix in Penang.

    Thanks.
