I look soft and fluffy. It look like baked. What did you do to make the top brown? I always thought only a baked cake had this kind of brown-top.

HI,
This cake is soft like the Japanese cheese cake texture. Since it has lavender, there is a lavender taste.
It looks baked, because it's Steamed-Baked in the oven.

Can I find out whether do you hace the same after taste as me on baking using Lavendar. It has a "minty" and a bit "siap siap" (hokkien) feeling after you eat them? My experience is from the Lavendar cookies.
