Hi aunty, I always love looking at your jelly creations coz they're always very pretty. I don't have the patience to pour one layer and wait for it to set before pouring the next layer... How did you make the triangle part? Is it using a special mould or is it cut from another jelly and put into the setting layered agar agar? Thanks.

Hi anonymous,

gosh...I hope somebody who got the same problem can help you out. As for me, I use all sorts of gelatine.

Jam,

I used a 'V' shaped mould.

Hi anonymous,

You could substitute gelatine with agar agar powder. However as the setting power of both may be different, you may have to experiment a bit with the amounts required in your recipe. One good thing about agar agar is that it can set at room temperature unlike gelatine. HTH.

Dear Aunty Yochana,
You are my inspiration to start baking and when I see this beautiful colourful agar-agar, it makes me so happy that we are able to enjoy such artistry. But I wish you were in KL so that I can buy your works of art.
You beloved fan forever.

Hi minh,

I do have agar agar books but I normally will choose one from here n one from there so much so that I don't know which book I've used.

If you still interested, I will try my best to help find the book.
