Aunty Yochana,
Very lovely bakes you have made. May i know what is the spread on top of your Victoria Sponge Cupcake? Thank you!

Hi elizabeth,

It's just sugar glaze. It's thinly coated and piped on top. The sponge is lovely...

Hi Lucy
Another day of great bakes.
I'm curious about your Stout cake. The moulds look so special...are they mini bundt pans? I assume you use guiness stout in this recipe and I'm wondering if the cake will taste bitter sweet? tia

Hello Aunty

I need your help. I have that Bundt pan too. Although it is suppose to be nonstick, all my cake cannot be released without tearing them into pieces.
How did you turn out the cakes so nicely and perfectly.

Thank you very much.

Hello yochana,

I want drop by for tea as well!! Very cute baby bundt!

1 question, what colour is your baby bundt pans? Black? If black, do u find baking in them makes the outer layer of the cake darker in colour and slightly crusty as well??

Thanks!

My preference, today, goes for your wonderful chocolate stout cake with ganache and your Linzer Torte!

Thanks Cherie, Fougassetta, Jennifer and Jacelyn for your kind words.

I will post recipes if possible.

yes Cherie, normally the black bundt pans will give the cakes a darker colour than the aluminium type. My guiness stout cake is brown and so it comes out brown. It gets brown faster but it won't get burnt.

Possible to share the Summer Berry Tiramisu?

Hi everyone,

Summer Berry Tiramisu is from the book "Crave".

Unless it's impossible for you to buy the book, let me know and I'll post the recipe.

I didn't want to post too much cos it's the author's bread and butter.

Anway, do let me know if it's impossible for you to get the book.
