Horlicks Doggie Cookies






Ingredients:

180gm. Golden Churn Butter
80gm. Horlicks
200g Plain flour
25g custard powder
30g milk powder
Koko Krunch and some chocolate chips (for decoration)

Method:
1) Sift the flour, custard powder and milk powder together.
2) Cream the butter and Horlicks for 3 minutes at low speed. Do not overbeat.
3) Add the sifted flour and beat for about one minute to form a dough.
4) Divide dough into 10g each. Roll into round balls.
5) Stick 2 pieces of Koko Krunch to form the ears and 1 chocolate chip as the nose.
6) Bake at 150 degC for about 25 minutes.
7) Cool before storing.

Hi aunty yochana,

I tried making this today, i realised that there is no sugar nor egg...and when i tasted it when done, the texture is okay but it doesnt have much taste nor is it sweet...can u pls advise is this is how it is supposed to taste like?

Can we add sugar to it and how much?

Hi Gina,

There is no sugar nor egg in this recipe. You can add in sugar to suit your taste. It's supposed to be slightly sweet with a cripsy texture.

Golden churn is the brand of the butter like SCS or Lurpak.

Golden churn comes in block or canned formed.
