Aunty, how do you pour the ganache without it spilling over down the sides of the cake like in your picture.I always have a problem with that. Thanks and that is one yummy looking cake. Angela.
could you send me the recipe please ? I was just wondering...your cakes are so yummy looking and I bet they taste good as well.. suggest you post all your recipes anyway ..else u will need to send individual recipes to us ! is this ok ?
Aunty, Very nice chocolate cake, I see that you are just using a normal baking pan & it can be remove so easily & neatly. Ai Yo! aunty you really got Kung Fu. Looks really moist & soft. Happy for you.
hi aunty Yochana :D this cake looks delicious.. are u sharing the recipe? >.< if yes please email me at miraclekoh@gmail.com would like to bake one for my friend's bday tml.. ^^
HI Aunty, Ive been following your fabtastic blog for along time, I would love to try this recipe out as im planning to make a cake with mint icing! and i need a chocolate sponge recipe, this looks perfect!
my niece wanted to have a barbie choc cake for her coming birthday. Is moist choc cake suitable for making skirt of barbie doll? When i look the mould,it's so deep and i;m worry it'll not cook cos i normally use it for making agar agar instead. kindly advise aunty. Thank you
for the skirt mould, better make a madeira cake or butter cake because if the cake is too soft, it might break. This moist chocolate cake is not suitable.
Hi Aunty, I have been an avid reader of your blog since I stumbled upon it by chance a while back. Your creations have never failed to amaze me! Do you mind sharing this particular recipe with me? I would like to try this out when my parents drop by. You really are an inspiration to budding bakers out there (like me!); thank you very much, aunty!
thanks aunty. can i use your choc sponge cake recipe instead? Does sponge cake consider butter cake cos the egg white and yolk are beaten separately. For baking cake in such a deep mould (for making barbie's skirt), what temp would you suggest?
hi aunty, I am staying at USA and I'm ur silent reader. My son who is 3 years old really like choc cake. If u don't mind, can u pls share the recipe pls. It will make his day. Thanks my email: nishah@nishah.com
hai aunty, your cake certainly looks delicious. but i'm wondering how do you keep the cake level... i always have a problem with that. my cake always seem to rise in the middle and eventually crack.
please, please advice. thank you so much. i really appreciate it.
You have to grease your pan well and dust it with some flour before pouring in the batter. The skirt is very high so it takes a longer time to bake. I've tried so i can't give your the exact timing...probably 45 mins.
I guess the topping layer is the choc. cook with corn flour style, may i know you cook this topping as i tried last week, may be i have over cook and become starchy and is too thicky that cannot flow nicely onto the cake. Your picture on the topping is so smooth. By the way, would be very happy if you can email the recipe to my collegues email address: christine.ang@wartsila.com whom love to do baking too. Hope you don't mind as she does not has a blog account yet. Thank you so much. BR jamie
so sorry , not possible to post recipes for every cake I post. Too much work for me and some are from the books, I will get into trouble for copyright. Hope you understand...
