Glossy Orange Macarons
These Macarons are not using Italian Meringue:
At the end of the day, it's me eating my macarons in front of my computer (uploading into my blog).
Hi Aunty yochana, I tried your buttercream recipe. Yes it is a good recipe. But when I wash the dish I realised the cream is very oily (the fat used is 600g) it is something not right about my cream? Or it is the nature of the cream? best regards Lim
Can you advise what is the thing we have to look out for when making macaroon? U'std that making macaroons are not easy.. for instance ground almond must be fine... must use special baking sheet???
All buttercream using butter are oily. No way to make a buttercream without butter. You can use other frosting like cream cheese frosting or creamwell frosting.

Hi Olivia,
Use a silpat mat and the whisking of the egg white is important.
