I've been trying very hard to practice with the layering. Using butter is not an easy task with our hot weather. As I roll, they tend to ooze out at the side and if it's chilled, the pastry breaks at the side. Guess using pastry margarine is much easier than Butter.

it looks more like normal bread than flaky croissants; is there any way to get the flaky, layery texture like they do in the French bakeries?
