Is the mooncake pastry made of butter cookies? How is it different from the traditional ones? Really admire your bakes everyday! If possible can you please share the recipe? Thanks!

yes it's cookie base and the skin is fragrant and crispy but it will soften down after a day because the oil from the lotus paste will seep through.
