Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these called pulut tai-tai,a nyonya and chitty delicacy?
It still looks delicious though and how creative of you to pipe on the kaya instead of just spreading it on as is the norm.

Angela,

yes it is Pulut tai tai. Top is yam cooked with sugar and eggs and that is why I can pipe it. If it's 100% kaya, then it's not possible to use a star nozzle.
