Can I ask you some questions on your butter cake?I find that your way of doing butter cake is different which beats the eggs separately.What is the difference of this kind of butter cake compared from the usual one?

Hi Jane,

beating eggs separately makes the butter cake lighter. For those who doesn't like the lighter version can do the creaming method..which is butter beating with sugar.

I have recently started browsing food blogspots and I must say yours is the best! So very kind of you to share all your recipes and knowledge. Could you help me with a problem I have had? Whenever I make jelly, I find I cannot have blue flowers on a yellow layer - the flowers turn green! Any solution to this problem, please?
