Pls also share your recipe on the Lemon Poppy Seed Cake.

May I take this opportunity to check with you on the Steamed Soft Banana Cake. What is the size of the loaf pan you used? I tried steaming the Banana Cake on Sunday. After steaming the layer of the banana cake mixture, it rasied so high that I can even pour in the lst layer. Pls advise on my problem and my error.

must say, i've tried about 4 different recipes for butter cake but yours has been the BEST butter cake i've ever made.

Hi Josephine,

I used 2 small loaf pan of about 6" for this cake.

Normally most books does not put in the size of the tins. so what I normally do is to judge the volume of the batter then I will decide on the size and shape to my whims and fancies.
