Hi T from Perth,

I used a normal knife to slice the cake. No need special or serrated knife for cheesecake.

Hi Diana,

Did you add in gelatine? Gelatine will help set the cheese cake.

hi aunty lucy,

i am abit confuse of the different types of flour. i notice your bakes seldom use self-raising flour, did u replace other flour?

Actually what is SRF best for baking?

If recipe call for SRF, is it possible to replace it with other types of flour? will the tecture be different?

hi aunty, please so share this recipe! The cake looks so delicious!

Aunty Yochana said...

Hi Kit,

SRF is a premix flour with leavening agent added in like baking powder and b. of soda. They can be used for baking all types of cakes like cupcakes or even cookies. It's easier to use SRF then plain flour because you have to add in baking powder and b. of soda yourself.

Even some chiffon cakes uses SRF.
