hey, can i ask for ur donuts, the mixer tool u used, is it the beater or the dough kneading tool?

Hi Aunty Yochana,

Do u use jam to "paste" the centre portion together? If we do not use jam, what other options can we have?

Please advise.

Yes I used Jam. sometimes I use Condense milk.

hi Lucy, me again.(my fren is in KL now) so I want to get a good layer cake book, any recommendation? I've ordered the 3 layer cake books by Vickie Chieng oredi. was there one by this guy called Jamie Jong??i remembered saw his name somewhere. thanks for ur help!
actually I'm baking one of ur cake lapis now-normal spekkok lapis....hehe..

hi Lucy,
my cake lapis turned out well. all the ladies from the church loved it. but i think i grilled it too thinly, will try to make it thicker next time.

my other fren is going back to S'pore next week. anything u want from here? do not hesitate to ask. hehe...

m going to bake the steamed egg white cake now as i hav too many left over egg whites from the cake lapis.
