Which cake r u using for this blueberry cake?is it regular cake...looks so yummy

i made prune butter cake last week using the egg white separate method..not as fluffy as expected and also the top brown surface tends to peel off when cut.. Do u know the cause?

Could be due to too much butter or baking powder.
