hi aunty yochana,
first of all, let me say that i'm so awed by your bake products and baking ability! i happened to chance upon your blog while searching for mooncake recipes...and boy, i wished i had known of your blog much earlier 'cos you've got fantastic recipes in here...and every single one of the pictures of your bake products just made me salivate.
i'm very new to baking..and have not made mooncakes ever! for this mid-autumn, i'm thinking of making some mooncakes for my friends & relatives. this particular 'Aromatic Mooncake Thins' looks very interesting and unique indeed. I'm hoping you can share the recipe?
Also, i'm thinking of just using those ready-made lotus seed paste 'cos i'm not sure if a newbie like me can handle making everything from scratch. would that be ok?
Yes I suggest you use the ready made lotus paste and practice on the skin and moulding. When you're comfortable with it, then you can start thinking of cooking the paste yourself. Thanks for your kind words. rgds
