Hi Lucy,
So early ar!
Your mooncakes are very nicely colored.
Did you make your own paste?

Hi Florence,

Yes..I always cook my own paste and I never add in colouring. The green colour comes from the pandan leaves.

Hi Lucy,

You are killing me here! Mooncake is my favorite and you tempt me so early with all these mooncake posts. I love pandan paste filling too!

Btw, your mooncake molds are very pretty!

Dear Aunty, how do you make pandan paste? Do you modify from your lotus paste recipe in your "Traditional Mooncake" post? I really love pandan mooncakes and I wish to make my own paste this year instead of buying from Kwong Cheong Thye. Thanks!

Hi Jam,

I blend pandan leaves and squeeze out the juice and add into the lotus paste while frying. Use the same recipe as the traditional lotus paste.
