Mexico Buns

My little princess love to eat mexico buns with coffee flavour.
For the filling, are you using butter or margarine? what is the amount per bun? shall I keep the butter or the margarine in the fridge before use it?

for the mexico topping, you did shared with us in your cream cheese bun recipes. can I subtitute the vanilla essense with coffee? how is the amount?

Hi n2inpink,

For filling, it's better to use salted butter rather than margarine. It's better to put the butter in the fridge before wrapping. Easier to wrap otherwise the butter (being slippery) will ooze out from the corner.

Yes, You can sub with coffee paste.
