I am very curious about this "bun" like pastry.. if the recipe is not available, could you let me know where to learn it? or is there any reference website that i can get the recipe? thks!
I used a brioche silicon mould to make these brioche. I also have the metal brioche mould. They are made in France and are very good. For silicon, they sides will be whiter whereas the metal, it will brown at all sides.
Have been surfing website recently for similar recipe for brioche and found that the flour used is not bread flour (high protein flour), they use plain flour.. can check is this correct?
The following is the website.. thks! http://www.recipezaar.com/51546

Hey Aunty Yochana,
I happen to stumble on your blog via another food blog and was amazed at your work !
You are really fantastic ! Do you know that from now on, whenever I switch on the computer, I will zoom into your blog first instead of my mails.
BTW, will you be posting the recipe for chocolate brioche & what type of baking tray is used ?
Cheers
Dawn Tay
Hi Aunty Yochana,
What is a Brioche? Is this some kind of bread? It looked yummy. Can you post the recipe? Thanks.
Hello Aunty,
The brioche looks very soft and delicious. Could you share this recipe as well?
Thank u very much!
Regina
HI anonymous,
The brioche is a French specialty bread and it has a wonderful rich buttery egg taste.

Hi feifei,
In most bread books there will be a brioche. Go to the bookstore - Kinokuniya and you will see a lot of brioche in most bread books.

Hi fei fei,
my recipe also calls for plain flour but you can change it to half bread flour and half plain flour.
