    Hi Lucy, I saw that u use silicon mould to bake this cake right? Does the silicon mould give off a "rubber" smell? THanks.

    Hi eileen,

    For this cake, I used Nordic-ware.

    As for silicon mould, it doesn't give off a "rubber" smell. I used it for my Suzy's cake and many others....never have the rubber smell. It's supposed to withstand heat at least till 250C.
