Hi Yochana,

My two princesses insisted that I make the Oreo Layered cake after tasted yours. The recipe stated B eggs. Does it mean BIG eggs??? and oh my god !!!!!! look at the amt of butter...400g. They said yours tasted like pandan flavour. Did u modified the recipe? After steaming do I leave it in the tin to cool it ???

TIA

Hi Kwa Kwa,

B eggs are medium size...without shell should be around 55 gm. each. If you want pandan taste, add in a little pandan paste. My mum gave me the wrong colouring, instead she gave me the pandan paste. I poured in a drop and stopped at it and then return to colouring.

Hi Kwa kwa,

forgot to tell you about the cooling thing:

cool the cake in the tin before taking out. If you take it out when it's hot, they might break up into pieces because it's still very soft and hot. I always never have the patience to wait till completely cool. I take it out when it's lukewarm and slice it and eat it first. I like to eat cakes when they are warm. Hope you fullfill your princess's wish. Happy trying and enjoy!!
