Hi Aunty Lucy

I'm Sarah and new to your blog. I'm very fascinated and impressed by what I see, all the lovely cakes and bakes! Must really "salute" you. 佩服!佩服!
I also have a request, hope you can share your recipe for the penang tua sar piah as I would like to bake it for my hubby and children. Thanks again.

Dear Yochana,

I was wondering if you care to share this recipe with me. I love this Cookie. I always buy it whenever I return to KL, unfortunately this time bcos my son was sick I didn't get a chance to get it.

I would love to learn to make this.

You can e-mail me at : tricialeechin@yahoo.ca

Thanks.

i *love* a type of tau sar piah! or rather i think they are tau sar piah :)

i had these delish cookie/cakes about 10 years back, a friend brought them from KL. they looked like tau sar piah on the outside, but the inside has a chewy texture with a very unique sweet/saltish taste. would you have any idea what it is? i've tried numerous tau sar piah since and the inside filling is just not right - both the texture and the taste!
