It was really a painstaking job making this "Love" sign and it's worth the hard work cos I really meant this --- Love and Peace to the world...

Thanks everyone for your compliments. It's really fun making this layered cake... credit goes to my mum who did the baking layer by layer. I did the mixing and of course the pattern is done by me.

Hi HSL,

Not very long to bake this cake though. It's a little more time than a normal Lapis.

Hi Mishmash,

Thanks for your compliments. I'm not so talented...just follow the steps from the book only. The author of the book is the one who is talented. Thumbs up to Jamie Jong.

You can buy her book "Sarawak Layered Cake". The recipes are inside and it has also easy step by step pictures for you to follow. You might do better than me if you see it.
