Dear Aunty Yochana,

The yam buns look delicious. Can u share the recipe?

Btw, how do u get the yam paste to be so smooth? It always takes me ages to mash the yam yet the end result is still very lumpy. :-(

Regards

Regina,

Firstly you must buy a yam that is not so starchy..so that when you steam it, it breaks down easily and then blend it with a 'K' beater till smooth. Buy a good big yam. For this yam buns, I used the sponge & dough method which makes the bread super soft.

Diana..most people love yam buns and so do I.

angeline,

a "K" beater is like a paddle used for creaming butter.
