aunty lucy...did u made the puff pastry. Kudos to you....i can see so many layers , just shows how a great baker u are.I have tried making them , never sucessful. I would love to learn to make them , issit ok to share the pics steps n recipe but i think its the folding that's is the problem for me. thanks

I made the puff pastry myself. For step by step folding, buy Alex Goh's "Irresistible Pastry" book. The steps are shown there. Hope it helps... If it doesn't , then try to attend a class on puff pastry.

thanks...nearly did'nt noticed the bun because the puff pastry was so puffy n nice.So for this recipe..wait till the dough bun double in size and then place a sheet of fuff pastry on top and egg wash then bake issit. Will it not flatten the dough.

sue, yes you are correct on the method. Mine didn't flatten. Lightly put the puff pastry on top.
