All I can say this is the first time I have seen oregano used in sweet pastries. Italians usually incorporate oregano in their foccacia bread and pizza which are all savories. You give doughnut another lift with this herb. There is a famous donut shop in San Francisco where people lined up in the morning for a apple, bacon and maple donut and if it is not your lucky day they run out when it is your turn. Again you deserve the Nobel Prize for Baking.
