  2. So tall & pretty... can you tell me how many eggs you used for this? Lately my baking has been stuck in chiffon mode - I've tried & tried using 6 eggs and even 8 eggs doesn't reach the rim of my 25cm pan. My latest I made with 9 eggs(x-lge)and it still misses the rim by a cm or so...I got the right texture but just couldn't climb to the peak!! Anita

  7. Hi Yochana,

Can you tell me what size pan and how many eggs you used for this cake? does your chiffon always rise to the very top of the pan? My chiffon pan is 10 inches (25cm?)and I've found it takes a 9 egg recipe to climb almost to the rim -but still miss by a cm or so.. the 6 or 8 eggs recipe just doesn't fill it all the way so my latest try was to use 9 eggs.. it just sounds like a lot for one cake !! Am I on the right track?? Thanks for your advice - Anita

  8. Hi Aunty Yochana

May I know if you spread a layer of cream over the cake and then sprinkle the cake with dessicated coconut on this cake?

    Cheers

  10. Hi Aunty Yochana,

I was introduced to your blog a friend, really impressed me and love your blog so much.
1st time tried to bake pandan chiffon cake and followed your recipe step by step. Disappointed to share that I failed my 1st try. Then I tried for 2nd and 3rd time but still failed. Therefore, appreciate if you could advise how to mix the beaten egg yolk and egg white? Shall I use electronic mixer or just by hand? Quickly or slowly? Roughly how long will it take to beat the egg white till stiff peak formed?
    Really appreciate your advice.
    Thank you.
