Pork Chop Bun

This is really yummy...the sliced pork is very delicious with a slight garlic taste and the buns are well toasted, very crispy. Nonetheless we went back for a second round for this.

These looks yummy, but I think your bakes are better :)

Trust you have had a good holiday in Macau.

Aunty Yochana,

I love this!!! I have never been to Macau, but my husband always "ta bao" back for me whenever he went there, we have it toasted in the oven, I still find it very delicious. I think it must be heavenly nice if I get to eat it on the spot!!

aiyoh shuh woon,

yes it's really nice on the spot. Can you imagine it if I go back for another round? Did your hubby ta-pow the egg tarts? He should ... Go to the same shop that I I've posted. It's just in front of the square, next to the steamed egg and pork chop bun shop.

Hi Aunty Yochana,

I fully understand if you go back for 2nd round, I would also, he always ta bao 10 pieces back and we can finish by the next day!! Anyway, i watched from tv program that the secret of the pork chop lies on a special spice that they use to marinate it, do you hv any idea what is it?

Ya, he bought back egg tart also from different shops, but i think not this one that u mentioned, will ask him to go to this shop the next time he go again...thanks for the tips!

I wish I know how to marinate the pork slices. It's really tender and delicious.
