The cake is really nice,,, but i see not easy to make leh.... I alway follow yr blog.... Is this cake make of the "FONDANT"? I wish to make "KUIH MOR" (Those can melt in the mouth), do you have recipe?
Aunty, this looks so nice! Your fondant cakes have been getting better and better lately.
Your cake reminds me of home - I want to be home for CNY, so sien. Though I brought back almost 8 containers of CNY cookies, haha. And I want to go for more classes too!
aunty, i've problem with fondant. THe dough x stick onto hands when kneading but the problem comes after i've cut into paterns. The surface gradually turned sticky and glossy. So i've to add more icing sugar but the same problem happened the following day. All the emboss design just disappear..Why is that so? Was it because i did it on a rainy cool day? TQ
your fondant recipe: You are using it to cover the cake or are you moulding into figurines? Normally I use sugar paste for figurines and Marshmallow fondant for covering cakes.
aunty, ......(speechless) WOW!!!! this is really a masterpiece and i don't know when i can even make one..OMG!! this is intricately done and it's gorgeous!!too pretty to be eaten aunty..

ReplyDeleteThanks Yaha for your compliments.
ReplyDeleteJean..this is easy to do. The small figurines are more difficult because they are so tiny.
