Chocolate Cake

    would like to know, why is there a layer of like unbaked batter at the bottom of your chocolate cake? is it common? i always have this problem when baking cakes and i find it unpleasant. i hope you can help me solve my problem. thanks

    This cake has water added into the batter thus it has this look. The water is almost a cup. The texture is very moist and fluffy tho. I gave to a student who came for the kueh bangkit class and her whole family loves it and she even asked me to teach her after cny. It's only the side that has this look but inside is ok.
