  3. is this the 65C Tangzhong choc wassant aunty? Looking so good!
    are there any tips why my dough so sticky, took so long to prove aunty, and the end result is a hard bread instead of fluffy ones just like yours aunty? million thanks!

    This is the 65C Tangzhong choc wassant which u told me last night.

    Your dough is sticky because you did not beat long enough to get a smooth and non-sticky dough. Just continue beating...

  5. any tips on how long to beat the dough aunty? I read that too long beating the dough isn't good too, hais too long not good, too fast not good too :(

    You can do the window test. Just pinch a small dough and try to stretch and if it can stretch and does not break then it's ready.

  8. Aunty, these look so delicious!!! My brother saw these on the monitor and asked if I'm learning how to make them. Eh....wait till I have overcome my fear of baking one's own bread :P Am really hopeless with anything made with yeast.

  12. hi aunty, i've already tried this yesterday, well its not sticky, and rose well too, but mine is quite dry this morning. I use the bread loaf recipe which dont need any egg.maybe use 2yolks will made any difference?

    you cook the tangzhong yourself:

    250 gm. water with 50 gm. bread flour. Stir and cook into a paste.
