is this the 65C Tangzhong choc wassant aunty? Looking so good! are there any tips why my dough so sticky, took so long to prove aunty, and the end result is a hard bread instead of fluffy ones just like yours aunty? million thanks! rgds-YooLee

Aunty, these look so delicious!!! My brother saw these on the monitor and asked if I'm learning how to make them. Eh....wait till I have overcome my fear of baking one's own bread :P Am really hopeless with anything made with yeast.

Your dough is sticky because you did not beat long enough to get a smooth and non-sticky dough. Just continue beating...

ReplyDeleteYou can do the window test. Just pinch a small dough and try to stretch and if it can stretch and does not break then it's ready.

250 gm. water with 50 gm. bread flour. Stir and cook into a paste.
