hi aunty, for some reason my comment didn't turn up on one of your last few entries..

May I know where you bought your silpat from? It's very expensive on ebay ):

hi screaming quietly,.

I normally will post all comments..

I bought the silpat mat from Sun Lik. If it's too big for your oven, cut into half and you have two pieces in hand.

Hi Lucy,

i have a few qns pertaining to macarons. i am quite desperate as to where i have gone wrong, even though i feel that i have followed through pierre herme's (i bought his book) exactly.
hirecipe is the closet things i have made to macarons, with smooth shiny tops and a little bit of feet. but somehow, after i remove them from the oven, the feet collapsed and cissures and cracks start to appear on the tops! i have tried adjusting oven temperature, shifting racks to lower level, but to no avail!

wonder if you could help?

my email is veronica_yang@hotmail.com

thanks!

Hi Kitchenaid,

there's no secret. Just buy a VICTORINOX serrated knife from sun Lik.
