Hi Aunty,

Wow, this is so nice. Great for Halloween. Is this one of your bundt pan.

Need to ask you a question. Is it usual to has some air holes on the surface of a steamed chocolate cake, if baking soda is used?

Li Ying

Hi Liying.

Yes it's for Halloween.

I have experienced it before - air holes on the surface, not only for chocolate but some other cakes too. Yes the baking soda or baking powder reacts during steaming and thus produces air holes. Give it a good stir before pouring into the tin.

Dear Yochana,

Would you share with us the recipe for pumpkin cake and other recipe which deal with pumpkin? Recently, my mother-in-law gave me a large pumpkin and I am lost as I do not know what to do with the pumpkin.

Thanks.

Jenny

Hi,
when is your prince charming coming so that I can turn the pumpkin into a carriage? Yochana, where can I get those pans? Is it those silicone type? Makes a nice agar agar mould too. Thnks

Hi,

This is not silicone type. It's a bundt pan - metal and non-stick. It's a gift from a nice friend from Canada.

You can do some search under Kitchen Kraft.
