I didn't like the look of the mochi bread which I made a few days back using the Taiwan's mochi bread flour. Today I tried again using the same mochi bread flour but using another recipe. Looks better now....

:) Mine looks like this when I made following the print-out instructions, but the top don't have those "wrinkles" like yours.
I shall try again.
Really ar...then you are better than me. My first trail looks like "Donald Duck"... I will the cranberry version soon.

Hi aunty yochana,
I have been trying to search for this premix for quite a while. I was in taiwan earlier but I can't find them in the supermarkets. Is there anywhere I can find in SG?
hi aunt yo!
where do we get this korean brad flour... looks so crispy outside and Q-Q inside... yummy! :)

Hi
For those who are interested in the Mochi bread flour , please call this number:
Ms Tan, contact at 9068 9873.
rgds
Hahaha...You're so funny Min.
rgds
Hi min,
it's a bit chewy chewy yet soft..

yochana,
No way I'm better than you, it's just that I remembered the print out *wink*
I will try again because I think my mixing is not as good as yours. The inside is not the same. But taste wise, not bad, crispy layer and chewy texture inside.
By the way, for those interested, the mobile number given belongs to Mr Willy Ong, not Ms Tan.
hahahah BK *wink*
hi aunt yo!
thanks for giving the info regarding purchase of the premix... however, does it come with instruction or other ingredients needed? thanks lots! :)

Hi bk & Aunty
Thank you so much for the address.
I have never tried mochi bread before and I'm really curious how it taste.
Nice Day!
Sulin
Hi,
I just gave ZHONG YONG TRADERS a call. A lady informed that the flour only comes in 5kg packages and it consists of just the flour alone and not a premix. But then again, she doesn't really seem to know what she's talking about, and she doesn't even know what this flour is used for. Has anyone purchased this before? Perhaps can advise?
Thank You so much Aunty and BK for the information :)
Thank You and GBU both
Racheline
Hi anonymous,
I have been using it...at the back of the mochi flour has got a recipe but you can get the recipe from the website too.
rgds
Oh, which website can I get the recipe from?
Hi anonymous.
I have already left the website above. Anyway here it is again:

Hi Aunty
I just bought the mochi mix from Zhong Yong. This Mr Eric Lee was really nice, he showed me all his products and explain how to use them. Althoug the mochi mix was in 5kg pack, he obliged my request for a 2kg.
Those who are looking to buy, contact him.
Sulin
Oh Sulin.
THUMBS UP!!!
I did the Cranberry mochi bread and my dear maid, finished it one shot. Oh gosh...why didn't you leave at least one for me??? Her reply: Mam..so addictive, so I finished all. (smile on her face)

Eric Lee is the boss. I think they have a new salesman to replace Willy.
The mochi bread flour is in 1 kg pack, not in 5kg pack.
If you look at the bakeking website, there's alot of premix.
http://www.bakerking.com.tw/
You can choose "English" at the top and thereafter "product"
and choose "premix powder series"
and "Dessert". The one used is "Mochi Bread Mix".
Hope the above instructions is helpful for those who are interested in getting the premix from Singapore.
FYI Kwang Cheong Thye at Lor 27, Geylang also has some of the premix but they do not have the Mochi Bread Mix.
Hi BK,
Thanks for your info.
Rgds.
Aunty Yo, BK
It is not available in smaller packs. The minimum to buy is 5kg! and there is no recipe. quite disappointing.
Hi anonymous.
Strange..must ask BK. She bought 2 pkts for me...1 pkt is 1 Kg.
Maybe you can share your 5 Kg with your friends.
rgds
Is the recipe for this posted? I can't find it.
