  10. Hello again and off course another thumbs up for this lovely cake! May I call you Lucy? because from reading your previous comments I found out that we are the same age:)and suddenly realized I've joined the rankings of high-cholestrol, inactivity, etc. etc.. abut I still love to bake AND eat it too, so I wonder if you can share the recipe for the green tea cloud swiss roll (it looks like made without egg yolks?) or any other swiss rolls recipe that is yolkless? Thanks - Anita

  18. Hi Lucy

    It's a nice purple cream !

    1) Did you use yam essence or real
    yam puree?

    2) Is it a butter cream type or
    whipping cream ?

Somehow I always tried using your sponge cake recipe and my cake texture turned out to be a bit dry. Kindly advise what's the cause for this. Thanks so much !

  19. Hi Mscake,

if you find it hard to make the simple sponge, just make the optima sponge cake will do.

I used Yam essence and a drop of purple colouring.

  21. Hello Aunty!

I don't want to trouble you for ordering books, but thank you very much for your very kind offer to help. I just want to know how much are the Alex Goh cookbooks (creative cakes, fruity cakes) and where can you find them?

Where can you buy Yam essence and what brand is good? I love Yam cakes!

  22. Hi jenny,

These books are not expensive... Each book is between S$12.oo to $14-90 each.

You can get Yam essence from Sun Lik.

Just go to Sun Lik and you can get many things there. You can even buy cookbooks (Alex goh, etc...) from Sun Lik too.
