Hi Aunty Lucy,

Great slide show.Keep it up! Just wondering for this choc polvoron, whether you just add cocoa powder or is it melted choc added to the earlier polvoron recipe you posted earlier last month? Can kindly advice. Thks a lot. Rgds, Chris

HI chris,

I added in Varlhorna cocoa powder and anyhow throw in my favourite cocoa nibs, almond nibs and twin chocolate chips. I even scooped extra milk powder into the mixture.

Hi Aunty Lucy,

Thks for the clarfication on the cocoa powder.I tried to make the polvoron just now. Is the end product supposed to be a bit dry? I dun have a polvoron plunger so i tried to use a small cutter but it fell into pcs. Then i tried to use a jam tart cutter (like those pineapple tart cutter) and it worked slightly better but still some bits n pcs fell out. Can advise if i am doing anything wrong? I followed your recipe very closely. Thanks so much for your help. Warmest regards, Chris

Hi Chris,

You must press it tightly into the mould then push it out if you are using a plunger. If you are using a cookie ring, chill it till hard then unmould it from the ring. You have to press it hard to bind them together.
