  6. Hi Cyndi,

I used 2 types of chestnut paste. I bought the Japanese one from Meidiya and the Hero's brand from Sun Lik. The whole chestnuts was bought from Meidi-ya.

  8. Hi cheery,

I used a cake ring to slice it.

You can buy cake slicer from Chong Trading or Sun Lik. It's a very thin wire.

  9. Greeting Aunty,

I am hosting a couple of Swiss friends for dinner in the coming week. Can you please give me the recipe for the Chestnut Gateau? I know they will absolutely love it. Since I am base in London, it will not be possible for me to purchase a Alex Goh's cookbook.Thank you.

  10. Hi Lucy,

Where can you buy the Y3k and Alex Goh's cooking books? I tried to find them from the Popular online website, but they are not featured there. I want to get them when I'm back for summer vacation.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers,
    Angelia

  11. Hi Angelia,

No need to go online....just go direct to POPULAR book store and you'll be able to find the books unless they're out of stock.
