Hi aunty, thanks for the reply on the polvoron.

How do u get the lines? I tried the zebra cake twice, and the choc collate at the centre, alth there were stripes at the top of the cake, see pix http://bp3.blogger.com/_JZe07Sm_KPU/SDWJbutSKGI/AAAAAAAAAWM/eFUgtiypEQQ/s1600-h/zebra_1.jpg

Hi Yuri,

what I did was to scoop more batter in the beginning and as it goes higher to the rim, I will cut down to smaller portion .

Did you shake or bang the cake tin after scooping layer by layer into the tin? They will bing together and become as one colour. Just try to tilt the tin a little will do.

thanks aunty! I banged the pan only after all the layers are done, to get rid of air pocket. I'll try your method, less batter as the layers build, tilt pan a little and see if I get nicer zebra lines :)
