  4. Hi Aunty,
Happy weekend, more baking for you, right?

I had tried your Choc-chip muffin before without using buttermilk, instead I used evaporated milk, the texture is a bit dry.I would like to bake gain, should I add more milk or how to improve the texture if I do not have buttermilk? Tks.

  5. Wah ...Lucy ...looks like you've perfected the recipe ah! Care to share the secret ingredient? I know there will be many who would love to know how it's done. The funny thing is I've never even tasted this before but am so curious about it after Precious moment started a thread at the message board.

  9. aiyoh Chawanmushi,

I used the Korean QQ Mochi flour like Florence did. The recipe is in her blog. All i did was to add in extras...like cocoa powder and then wrapped some good quality button chocolates.

Taste...very QQ. Very addictive. Eat one and you'll want another.

  11. hi Min,

Aunty old liao...so the no. of years of experience baking already makes it perfect. You will also be like me one day when you reach my age.

I started baking when I was 12 years old...and I did take some classes in the begining. The last class I attended was something like 20 years ago. Once you know how to bake, you will be able to tackle any recipe in hand.

  19. Hi aunty, I am lucky to get a packet of the korean QQ bread premix from a korean friend. From the instructions, it says to sprinkle water, but when? Before the tray goes into the oven, or during? Hope to hear from you soon and thanks. Yr QQ bread looks very good!

  20. Hi Yuri,

Roll it into 40 to 50 gm. balls and place it on a tray. Place it into the oven and spray water in the oven so that the mochi bread has a crispy coat.

  21. Thanks aunty for the direction. I would need to get a new and clean spray first. My packet is the same one you got from Seoul Mart.
