aunty, does these doughnuts still soft the next day? how long you mix the dough in the mixer until smooth and elastic? rgds-YooLee
I fried them. I prefer the fried doughnuts to the baked ones. The baked ones are more try and not so tasty. After all you are not going to eat a ton....once a while pamper yourself with a fried doughnut.

Dear Auntie Yochana,
Fantastic looking doughnuts.
Were your doughnuts baked or fried ? I love doughnuts but don't want to eat too many fried foods.
Hi

Thanks
Jacq

HI Jacq
I used exactly the same recipe as I've posted.
It's very nice and fluffy and not so oily.

Yes Yoo lee,
they will remain soft the next day.

Hi Aunty Yochana
Is it possible to use the same receipe but bake it?
Thanks
Hi anonymous,
Yes, you can bake it but it will take more like a bun rather than a doughnut.
