Thanks for the quick reply. I'll certainly be in line with Sweetbites if ever you decide to open that baking class (cross my finger REAL tight)!! Oh, and thanks so much for posting the recipe for the strawberry mouse delight, I'll certainly try to impress my family with that on Father's Day :) Hope I'll come thru for this one!! btw, can I use the springform pan as the cake ring and since I don't have the plastic cake collars, can I just line the sides with baking paper instead? Hi Anita,

yes you can use a springform cake tin. You just make the striped sponge, cut it to the height of your tin and lay into the tin.
