  1. Hi Yochana,

Beutiful agar-agar. Would like to try. What are the brown, green & white layers? Are the brown, green layers plain agar-agar, only the white layer is sweet corn agar-agar? Pls advise. Thanks

  6. Hi Yochana,

What a lovely piece of art, so pleasing to the eyes...it's like a jelly patchwork!

If I've counted right (there may be more)you have posted 408 recipes for all your fans plus just as many baking tips. These can fill a cookbook just as comprehensive as Dorie Greenspan's "Baking from my home to yours"

Thank you for your generosity...give yourself a pat on the back! We, your fans, send you our hugs.

    Just ignore the "sour kanas"

  9. Hi Yochana,

Thanks, the gula melaka & pandan juice are plain agar-agar? what did you add to the cream sweet corn? My gula melaka was very light brown, not like yours. What type & can we buy from Phoon Huat?
    Pls advise.

  10. Hi Yochana,

Sometimes my layers seperated when I cut the agar-agar. If I pour to fast before each layer is set than also cannot. How to get perfect?
    thanks

  11. Hi anonymous.

Best to let be 3/4 set then scratch the surface to roughen it then pour in the next layer. This helps it to stick to each other.

  12. Hi,

I bought my gula melaka from NTUC. I think it comes from Malaysia.

I used cream corn with coconut milk.
