  6. Hi yochana

I have you to thank for my recent success (after so many flopped attempts) at macaron making. Your Chocolate mac post using PH's recipe an dyour detailed instructions were indispensable. I am now in a quandry as to how to go about with experimenting with your other yummy yummy versions of the macaron. Do you have a basic macaron batter recipe to which you add or subtract your different flavouring like matcha green tea, black/white sesame, groundnuts, hazelnut, etc etc. If you do, would you be so kind as to share it with me? my email address is melena.yeong@hotmail.com. I would be so grateful if you could. Thanks!

  7. hi yochana,

I owe my recent macaron success (after so many flops) to you, and your chocolate macaron (PH's) post. Your detailed instructions were indispensable. I am also in awe of your macaron making skills and would like to ask if you have a basic macaron recipe, to which you add or subtract the flavourings, like matcha green tea, coffee, hazelnut, sesame, fruit ones, etc etc. If you do have one, could you be so kind as to share it with me? My email's melena.yeong@hotmail.com. Thank you

  8. Hi Yochana,

after viewing all your macaroons, I finally have a chance to taste one at Napa Valley. It is from French Kitchen. I was just dying to try one. It was very very good.

Now I feel like have my hand on it. Would really like to try to bake myself. Please point me where to find the recipe. Books or website. Thanks.

As always, you are greeat inspiration and not afraid trying new recipes.

  9. Hi Su,

There's books on Macarons but only 1 page - Pierre Hermes which I have already posted in my blog.

You need to practice to get it correct. The expensive part of this cookie is the SKILL.
