you cup cakes look nice and tasty. do u mind to share the recipe .tq
Hello Aunty Yochana, You are indeed a great baker and creator in baking. But what's the point of showing the pictures but rarely want to post your recipes. Many have requested for recipes again and again but you rarely response. When you see this comments, I am ready for your and other bloggers remarks. But what I commented is nothing but the true. I am also sure out there many other bakers will support and agree with me in bringing these comments to you.
First and foremost, I'm not obliged to post recipes and most bloggers does not post every recipes too. I have posted so many recipes that I got worried.
I'm so sorry for not being able to post all recipes to all my blog fans. I've been busy at work and also I have a home to look after so I can only post at random. I cannot post all recipes cos I also learn it from books and because of copyright issue I can't post it. Hope you understand.
Aunty Yochana, you don't have to feel sorry. You are already very generous - posting so many recipes. You are not obligated to post every recipe. People must learn to appreciate whatever is given to them and don't take things for granted. It takes time to have each recipe posted, moreover, you have your job and family to take care of.
Please don't get hurt by some unappreciative bloggers. Just ignore them.
I've learnt a lot through blogging. How to endure being "hurt" by people who doesn't appreciate. Besides posting pictures and recipes, I normally will attend to all emails first because I'm worried that someone out there may need some help and that is my first priority.
There are many bakers out there who are much better than me but most people will not be that generous to share their experience. So for anonymous, you have to learn to appreciate...
Hi Yochana, People must learn to appreciate n not spoon feed with every recipes.Let them bake, blog n post everyday, then they will know how to appreciate the work involve. Anyway pls don't stop yr daily bake as my day starts with yr blog.
I too agree with Fiona. I have been following your blogspot since I started baking and frankly, you have been a true inspiration to novice bakers like myself. You have been kind n generous in sharing with us baking tips and recipes and for that I deeply appreciate it. Anyone who has been following your blogspot religiously will know how many recipe requests you get for every nice baking pic you post on a daily basis. We cannot expect to make demands like the anonymous blogger; we should be just appreciative of your kindness and and willingness to share with us your bakes wherever possible. For that particular blogger, maybe she/he should consider spending some money, go out and buy some baking books if she/he is so demanding for recipes? Aunty Lucy, don't feel obligated. You have my full support, Chris
As usual, yr cupcakes are irresistable! I can't help but also notice your 'irresistable' muffin pan. Where did you get it from? Most of the pans I saw are those black ones which I don't like.
Btw, you have already been so generous with your recipes. Just ignore those 'hurtful' posts. Cheer up!
I bought this muffin pan from "chong Trading". yes...it's really good and in the end, I bought another one. It's quite costly though.. I think it's about S$180 each. It's made in USA. Wear-Ever No 5325. You can call them up and ask for the price. I hope it goes down.
Oh don't worry about the anonymous. The fact that she dare not post her name is enough to tell you what a sour grape she is.
I am with you. Just ignore the comments by anonymous. I think is time people have some manners and learn to appreciate and think of the consequences if Aunty were to post all recipes. The fact that Aunty took the initiatives to bake and post for us to view is good enough. What ever recipe Aunty wish to post is bonus to us.
Sorry for the late support, just "discovered" the chaos out here. Maybe bakers who kept requesting for recipes should do some soul searching too. As aunty had already posted a long list of recipes, have the requesters actually tried the recipes out there, or they just want to request and "sit" on the recipes.
Aunty, cheer up and post recipes only if you are free, you don't have to feel bad about it. People who can't wait can get their own cookbooks.
Will you post your name if you going to make the kind of comments that anonymous had brought up? I agreed with the anonymous that Yochana seldom posts recipes even if there are many requests. I, myself, considered a new baker was so engrossed with some recipes I like, I requested too but no answer. Yochana, since you clamied to be so busy, maybe you could just let us know which books or where you get the recipes so new bakers will not have to bother you more.
I think you are quite new to my blog. In one of my postings, I've mentioned that I will choose the highest request for that particular recipe and I will post. I cannot be posting every requests because there are too many. I did mentioned books but perhaps that you did not read too. I'm not obliged to do all these. It's just out of kindness... I wanted to stop posting recipes and replying to emails but after some consideration, I continued on when I got more than 100 blog fans giving me lots of warm encouragement....
Jenny, did I not reply to your mails or even post a recipe for you that you like or requested?? I'm just doing it as a favour not something I owe you. I'm sure that are other blogs could reply to your request too. Since I'm so busy as you have mentioned, please divert your request to else where. So sorry...I'm not able to reply or post all your requests.
Seeing Aunty's many variety of cakes everyday is already a motivation. For recipes, I think we can refer to recipes posted earlier in the blog, such as: http://auntyyochana.blogspot.com/2007/12/very-berry-cupcakes.html
Even if the above does not give the exact replication of the blueberry cupcakes that's posted here, the process of trial & error is quite fun too! And perhaps, you may create your own recipes while doing so!
I have been reading your blog for a long time but have yet to drop a comment. Until now, I really have to voice up because I totally diagree with the comments made by anonymous. You are extremely generous with both recipes and tips on baking. I have been reading many food blogs but none of the blogger is as willing to share their secrets as you. Tips and advise is very important to the success of the product.
I absolutely enjoy your blog and always looking forward to read them. The photos are always so beautiful and "delicious". How I wish they are real, so that I can plug them out of the monitor to eat them...yum..yum..
Waaahh! How come suddenly I'm being dragged into this chaos?? *scratching head* *sniff sniff* Better clarify myself here.
Aunty, really hope you didn't mistake me for that anony writer. I've never ever request any recipes from you since becoming a fan of yr blog. I just wait patiently for you to post the recipes and if they do appear, I'll say a silent thank you!
All my postings are usually words of admiration on your bakes and queries on some of your recipes posted here but never on recipe requests. Maybe 'Jenny' is such a common name and used randomly here.
Next time I shall include 'Twins' in my postings. If you know what I mean aunty. :))) Cheers!
Just ignore those nasty remarks, if they are unhappy, pls dont't visit your blog, can they do that? If not, just make do with whatever you have posted. Please bear in mind that we can only request and not demand......
Really Aunty!! Go and pick up your bakes? Wah...I'm so honoured. I know yr residential area fm the private mail you sent me but not the full address. Maybe you can email me through my yahoo addy. Don't post yr address here otherwise there'll be a long queue outside your home tonite...longer than the Hello Kitty mad-rush at MacDonalds! Haha.
Aunty, So very sorry just to discover the disatisfaction by anonymous. You really have the right not to obliged, there are thousands out there requesting for different recipes, how to obliged? I did request before but was not posted, it is alright, I understand. You just can't simply obliged everyone out there, it is not easy. Let them try the burden & they will know & feel it. You have been very kind to advice & answer some of our problems & prompt too. Anyway forget her or him. Keep up your good work. I think all other bloggers out there appreciate your kind consideration & support you. A big thank you to you should be right.
another unappreciative bloggers in your blog? *tsk tsk tsk* you must be too talented liao......
anyway, I'M WITH YOU !!!! juz ignore them... pls don't stop yr daily bake as my day starts with yr blog, especially on monday blue... :)
apologies for my late support, just "discovered" the chaos out here. i've been busy with work, integration project and family as well, only now got time to visit your blog.

If she is not interested in viewing your blog then don't do so, ask her to look elsewhere and see if can find a better site than yours.
