Aunty, Could you advice on the use of the oven to bake multiple cakes at the same time? I've tried baking 2 cakes at the same time and the result was far from fetching, is this the case and if there's any way of working around it? Thanks in advance.
I don't recommend baking cakes on two shelves. One will have a more burnt top while the other has an uncooked look top.
You either place both tins on the same shelf of bake one at a time. For cookies is possible to bake two at a time because you can shift the trays as when you like but not for cakes. For cakes, do not shift the pan while baking, it will collapse in the oven unless they are already 3/4 cooked.

Morning Aunty,
Can I know what difference will self-raising and cake flour make to a cake? Is cake flour a better choice?

Hi anonymous,
I think cupcakes normally has a flat top. I fill it to slightly more than half of the muffin cup.
