oh! and also about steaming the cake. i read in one of the comments that i can use a wok? if so how do i know if the cake is done? by opening it up regularly to check?

thanks aunty!! :D

Hi a pocket full of posies,

I really admire those who uses a wok to steam their cake. I for one has no guts to do that. I used a 3-tiered steamer. A wok cannot put much water and you have to top it up all the time causing anxiety on the cake thus the collapsing cake will appear. Opening the cover is not good for the cake. To know whether the cake is cooked, firstly judge by the number of minutes u have steamed then after that stick in a skewer to test whether it's cooked

Have fun.
