Dear Amelia,

Wow..our handsome boy is Primary 1 already ar??? Time flies... You still make the mini hamburger cookis for him?? No pacifier !! Good news lah.. Haven't seen him for some time liao.

Ya, these are royal icing and then we dry it in the oven. Can eat as candy or as decor for the cakes.
No much work tho...piping is fast.

Hi Ee,

yes i piped them all and then keep it in containers. It can last up to one year unless attacked by ants. So far, no ants yet....

Frankly speaking Ee,

Looking after 3 young kids like yours is no joke. It's harder than making cakes. Keep up the good work too!!

Hi Lucy, my naughty boy is double the size now. No lah, he jelak with burger cookies liao, now go for egg tarts and chocolate cheese cake. Trying very hard to keep his weight down but hor heng ah,he is not the biggest in his class.

How long it takes to dry the royal icing in the oven?

Oh Amelia,

Heng ar....that sounds funny.

Let him eat lah... Oops. I think he's taller than me now.

I oven dry in very very light warm oven just to dry it. You also dry in the sun. Too high heat will melt the sugar and it will bubble up.

See ya...have fun.
