    I used a zig-zag presser to press into the cake. You can see it from the book "MALAYSIAN LAYERED CAKE" by Vickie Chieng.

    Just to check - do you press the cake after all layers have been completed or after every few layers?

    yes you have to press every layer otherwise the wave will not come.

  12. hi aunty how u make durian lapis? i never heard of durian lapis, it sound cool. here (canada) there are lots of frozen durian, but sometime we do have fresh durian too but a little bit expensive, do u mine sharing the recipe, thank you
