Hiya Yochana

I did a marble cake too yesterday.. thought that FINALLY, i get a decent cake done. Who knows the cake is still wet in the middle of the heart shape pan! The edge etc all very nicely done! Only the center of the heart. aiyo why like this? I rebake again and now the cake so hard and dry. Demoralise man......

Hi Jen,

You must bake at 45 mins. depending on the size of your cake. Bigger cakes needs more time. Always use a skewer, insert into the center of the cake, if it doesn't stick to the stick anymore, then it's done. If not, continue baking till it's cooked.
