hi Rachaelin,

Dodol paste is just pureed durian while dodol is cooked with glutinous rice flour. Well, this pingpi dodol is definitely a hit with me.

Hi,

Is this durian dodol use brown sugar? Look like the color is darker than durian paste. Is this durian dodol the same taste as the durian dodol we buy at the market? what the different between pingpi and snow white skin? Sorry I asked so many questions, I never know that there are so many kind of mooncakes. I really like your site, It'll be so great if all the pictures have the recipe posted.

Thanks,

Hi anonymous,

Yes, I used brown sugar and I cooked too long so the colour become too dark.
Pingpi and snowskin is the same. Pingpi is in mandarin while snowskin is in english.
